Testimony Thursday

God is faithful and true. Please share with the Bibleonline community what the Lord has done for you. Let us encourage one another in the Lord as we soldier on towards the prize.

2 Corinthians 2:14 "But thanks be to God, who always leads us in triumphal procession in Christ and through us spreads everywhere the fragrance of the knowledge of him."

Aren't we blessed that our God truly is faithful and true, as Natasha remarks! He has also given us incredibly resilient bodies to navigate this earthly existence of ours. Unfortunately we tend to take them for granted sometimes though.I never would have thought it possible to recover some of the movement I have since my accident in 1993, but now that I am working with a special post-rehabilitation movement therapist at our local Y.M.C.A.,I know that our God works in an outstanding variety of ways and through an equally outstanding variety of people in order to bring about positive changes, and therefore is indeed amazingly faithful! After so much time has passed, he has placed Natasha and Andrew back in my life with this web site, and has put Jason at the Y newly into my life! I was missing doing our Bible studies through our church because they stop during the summer, but this opportunity appeared instead, so thank you all for being available to express my excitement with! I thought Monday was music and movie Monday, so I had planned to comment on a piece of music that we used to do regularly at A.P.C., and that I often found myself humming to myself when I moved here. I contacted the music pastor at A.P.C., and he e-mailed me the music and lyrics so that I can now play it on my flute and sing it if I want, much to my mother's chagrin! At least it's not possible to do both at the same time! I would recommend the hymn "Sweeter" to almost everyone loves the Lord because the first line of it is:"Everyday with You Lord is sweeter is sweeter than the day before", and it goes on in a similar vein or line of thought.

Have a blessed week everyone!

Hi Everyone...

What a blessing it is to have a place online we can go when we need encouragement from our fellow sojourners in the Lord ... or when we want to share a testimony.

I just wanted to post an encouraging word for those of you who may be going through financial struggles ... that the Lord is FAITHFUL.

I am single and hoping for marriage, and I have sensed the Lord preparing my heart for this in many ways. However, one area where I have felt very insecure is with respect to my finances. I am working hard to repay debt I have incurred from undergraduate and graduate studies. I have been faithful with tithes and offerings, but the going with dept repayment has felt slow.

Just about a month ago, I remember telling my small group members that if I were to meet my mate over the next year, I didn't even have $5 set aside for wedding expenses, not to mention the debt load that I would be bringing into a union.

Well, the Lord just opened a wonderful door of blessing for me that laid that fear soundly to rest. Although I still have a ways to go, He has definitely granted me a signficant boost and showed me that He is very involved in helping me prepare that area of my life just as much as the others.

I just want to encourage you that even when it doesn't seem convenient, keep tithing ... keep supporting the Lord's work ... keep trusting ... and God will show Himself strong on your behalf. He sees and takes note... and will step in to help you according to His wisdom.

I now trust Him even more to meet my desire for a mate and look forward to sharing that testimony. I also want to continue looking to the Lord for help with my finances and every other area of my life.

I hope that you are encouraged to do the same.

Be blessed!

I just want to share and encourage all of you that are waiting on God for a mate. Trust God. I was getting up there in age and I did not see anyone in sight in terms of a wife. I wrote a letter to God asking Him for a few things, a wife being one of them, and God answered me. As I was cleaning my art room I found a gift that Tash gave me a long time ago. We were best friends in University and lost touch after we graduated. Although it had been 3 years since we last talked I thought I would give her a call. I called her number but she moved. I thought maybe it wasn’t meant to be. To my surprise, a few weeks later she called me. She said the Holy Spirit told her to call me. This month we will celebrate six years of marriage. God is good. He answers prayers. Trust Him and wait for the one He has chosen for you. It is worth it!
