Remember King David’s battle with Goliath. How it was made known how David’s confidence in his faith was strengthened to stand before the giant in the name of the Lord. When in 1 Sam17:37 David said moreover, The LORD that delivered me out of the paw of the lion, and out of the paw of the bear, he will deliver me out of the hand of this Philistine. And Saul said unto David, Go, and the LORD be with thee.
My dear readers all you have to do to receive and believe on the on the Lord Jesus Christ because he is the master planner of all who reside on the earth. He is all-sufficient, omnipotent God who is responsible for our salvation. Just receive Him with all your heart and obtain a perpetual spring of living water within you that gives eternal life. (John 4:11; 7:38) Amen
Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful. And let us consider one another in order to stir up love and good works, not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as is the manner of some, but exhorting one another, and so much the more as you see the Day approaching (Heb. 10:23-25) To believe in Jesus and stand “firm to the end” will take determination, because our faith will be challenged and opposed. This involves overcoming difficulties and withstanding pressures from the world. One of the ways in which we can overcome these trials and troubles is to meet God inside his dwelling place, his holy temple. Going to a church assembly can help us step aside from the busy cares of this life so we can quietly meditate and pray. The place that Christians are to find edification and encouragement is not out in the world, but in the prayers, singing, teaching, and fellowship in the worship of our God. Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom, teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord (Col. 3:16).
