Talk Tuesday - God Chasers

What are you chasing after this year? A new job? A new house? A husband or a wife? If you want to chase after something, how about chasing after God? This year about 17 of us are going to do just that. We have taken up the challenge of reading the Bible in one year. The goal is not only to read the Bible in one year, but to really draw close to God. We have added a new section called 'Bible Talk' which is posted every weekend. Listed are the scripture readings for each week. As you read your Bible, you can click on the 'Bible Talk' link at the top of the website to get to the latest post. You can add what God has revealed to you from the daily passage. Feel free to post everyday or once a week. If you have questions or you want to explore biblical topics pertaining to the readings, this is the forum to do it. The discussion has already started, so come and check it out!

At the beginning of a new year most people look back at the last year and hope that the new year will be better. The only thing that I can guarantee is that if you seek God with all your heart you will find Him. That is a great place to start. So if you have not joined us as yet, don't be afraid, together we can do it.

"Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. 8 For everyone who asks receives; the one who seeks finds; and to the one who knocks, the door will be opened." Matthew 7:7-8

"Seek the LORD while he may be found; call on him while he is near." Isaiah 55:6

What are your views about the sabbath day according to the Seven days. My views are every day is the Sabbath day for me. I have a couple of friends who can't seem to hear anything other than Saturday.
