Testimony Thursday - What are you thankful for this Christmas?

I got this suggestion from one of the BGOers. It is Christmas time, so let's share what we are thankful for.

I am thankful for my wife and all our family. God has really given me a treasure in my wife. She is the most loving and giving person. She is also cute.

Drop us a small note and tell us what you are thankful for this Christmas.

I am thankful for God's provision over the years, especially when it came to providing me work. I have never found myself out of work in a struggle. Now I have the opportunity of working from home in a business I like. I don't want to squander or take lightly this opportunity He has given me so I give God thanks. I am also really thankful for a reliable car, especially now that it is cold outside and the snow is quickly approaching. It is a 94 Honda Accord with over 300 000 clicks and it still runs really well!

I am thankful for God's most abundant grace! He has really brought me a far ways from where I began: with a buddhist family /quasi-Catholic upbringing and a lost time list dabbling in the 'spiritual'. I can't believe sometimes how much He loves me; that HE believed in ME, and now I can openly praise and worship my Lord Jesus every day and every night! He really turned my life around and I am so grateful! He has blessed me tremendously and has entrusted me with a wonderful husband and home :) He surrounds me w/ loving family, great Christian friends, a good job and yes a functioning car!!! :)

I am thankful for God's grace in my life for another year.

I am thankful that He has helped me complete a third year in my job, which has been a real blessing but which has also been a tremendous adjustmnet for me in terms of the scope of responsibility and the ongoing pace of change.

I am thankful that even though I am still waiting on answers to prayers for things that I thought would come to pass in 2008, so many others were answered that He has given me confidence to keeping seeking Him and waiting on Him for the rest!

I am thankful that my family is in good health and prayers for improved health for them and me have been answered.

I am thankful that God has given me the opportunity to take two weeks off to be with family and friends over the Christmas holidays.

I am most thankful to be a treausred daughter of God ... and that I am still excited about knowing Jesus Christ as Lord!!!

I am thankful for strong genuine Christian friendships, sound biblical counsel & serving a God who remains true to His promises.

When I found myself in the thick of a very difficult situation, He sent me wise Christian friends who spoke the truth in love, bathed the situation in prayer, and trusted God that I would submit in obedience instead of insisting my own way.

Thank you dear brothers and sisters for all your prayers. For letting me be, and confidently trusting God that all would work itself out. There is beauty and absolute freedom in letting go of anyone and anything that hinders our growth.

I am thankful that He's refreshed my outlook. I used to think I had to get a formal Christian education and serve within the four walls of the church to impact the world for Him, but am recently discovering it doesn't have to be that way at all.

I am so very thankful for the journey of self awareness and healing that i am on. God continues to walk with me and I am not where i should be but i am getting there day by day.

The change in my perspective on everyday life and life in general has been tremendously positive

Thank you Jesus!
