I loved the sermon yesterday about worship....why do we worship God? Revelation chap4&5 truly gives us the reasons and examples why and how do we worship....my favourite verse from this lesson in Chap4, Holy,Holy,Holy, is the Lord God Almighty, who was, and is, and is to come!! Praise God!! He alone is worthy of our praise!!! Let us worship Him in spirit and in truth!
In our pastor's sermon he told us about a story of a woman that came to him and said,"Why did Jesus have to die for us?" She said,"If I broke a vase at home all I have to do is tell my mom I was sorry and she would forgive me. Why can't God do this for us?" Our pastor answered,"your mom can forgive you for breaking the vase but in order for things to return to the way they were before someone would have to pay the price for the vase." Jesus payed the price for us. Wow!
