Please pray the Lord will help me sort out all the confusion about which church is the right church! I was raised Pentecostal but as I've gotten older I'm not so sure if it's the 1 true church. Not to say that it's necessarily the wrong church, i just don't believe in some of the IDEAS & STANDARDS anymore...If "it's" a SIN... then there are alot of good, honest, God loving people going to hell....

Hey Sherrie,

We would be more than happy to pray for you and ask the Holy Spirit to lead you in His direction for your life.

I don't believe there is any ONE TRUE church from a denominational perspective. There is the one true church of Jesus Christ, consisting of the body of believers from many different denominations throughout the world who believe in God the Father, God the Son, God the Holy Spirit and that salvation is through Jesus Christ alone. If you feel comfortable, please don't hesitate to share with us any concerns you may have regarding the Word of God. There are many Catholic, Baptist, Pentecostal, Methodist, Presbyterian, Evangelical and Orthodox believers throughout the world who love and serve Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour. They are our brothers and sisters in Christ.

Mark 9:38-41

Whoever Is Not Against Us Is for Us

38 “Teacher,” said John, “we saw someone driving out demons in your name and we told him to stop, because he was not one of us.”
39 “Do not stop him,” Jesus said. “For no one who does a miracle in my name can in the next moment say anything bad about me, 40 for whoever is not against us is for us. 41 Truly I tell you, anyone who gives you a cup of water in my name because you belong to the Messiah will certainly not lose their reward.

Thank you Natasha for your willingness to pray with me about this. My best friend is a real warrior for Jesus & this whole business of there being a single church that is the 1 & only true church & the rest "be damned" is so often the topic of long conversations between us. It may seem silly to some but I'm in alot of turmoil concerning my faith & well, HELL! I simply do not want to go to hell for any reason is all. She wants me to go to church with her, but I'm even scared to do that! B/C that would be "blasphemy"!(sigh!!!)Well Natasha, honestly, I am a full fledged backslider from the church, don't want to go back to my old church, and too scared to even walk in the door of any other church b/c that is considered "blasphemy", which we all know is the 1 & only unforgivable sin, & so is the main reason why I'm so scared! Thanks for letting me vent anyway Natasha!!!...Lord bless you abundantly!!!

Sherrie,

Note also that in every denomination, where mankind exists, there will be wheat growing among the tares. Each person is responsible for their own actions before the Lord of Hosts. The Lord examines our hearts. If after much prayer, you feel led to leave the Pentecostal church and become part of another Christian denomination, focus your eyes on Christ, not on man. You will always find imperfections where man exists. The same should apply if you decide to stay within the Pentecostal church. Always remember to pray for your brothers and sisters in the Lord. Study the scriptures and let the Holy Spirit speak to your heart.

Matthew 13:23-29

The Parable of the Weeds

24 Jesus told them another parable: “The kingdom of heaven is like a man who sowed good seed in his field. 25 But while everyone was sleeping, his enemy came and sowed weeds among the wheat, and went away. 26 When the wheat sprouted and formed heads, then the weeds also appeared.
27 “The owner’s servants came to him and said, ‘Sir, didn’t you sow good seed in your field? Where then did the weeds come from?’

28 “‘An enemy did this,’ he replied.

“The servants asked him, ‘Do you want us to go and pull them up?’

29 “‘No,’ he answered, ‘because while you are pulling the weeds, you may uproot the wheat with them. 30 Let both grow together until the harvest. At that time I will tell the harvesters: First collect the weeds and tie them in bundles to be burned; then gather the wheat and bring it into my barn.’”

John 4:19-24

19 “Sir,” the woman said, “I can see that you are a prophet. 20 Our ancestors worshiped on this mountain, but you Jews claim that the place where we must worship is in Jerusalem.”

21 “Woman,” Jesus replied, “believe me, a time is coming when you will worship the Father neither on this mountain nor in Jerusalem. 22 You Samaritans worship what you do not know; we worship what we do know, for salvation is from the Jews. 23 Yet a time is coming and has now come when the true worshipers will worship the Father in the Spirit and in truth, for they are the kind of worshipers the Father seeks. 24 God is spirit, and his worshipers must worship in the Spirit and in truth.”

Ty again Natasha. & I'm happy to say it's not the people in the church that keep me from going. Its the uncertainty. I read all the scriptures you sent & you're advice about seeking the lord for direction is what I'll continue to focus on.Please keep me in your prayers & I'll keep you updated! Again, TY!

Hi Sherrie,

Will do! If you have any questions, please feel free to email me at joinus@biblegrouponline.com

We can continue this privately if you like. Remember, fear is not of the Lord. Jesus died for our sins, to restore us to relationship with Father God. Satan is the accuser of the brethren, but remember God's promises. If you are struggling with guilt, you need to allow the blood of Jesus to wash it away so that you can be free.

Blessings in the Lord Jesus Christ,
Tash

Romans 8

Life Through the Spirit

1 Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus, 2 because through Christ Jesus the law of the Spirit who gives life has set you[a] free from the law of sin and death.

Please pray for complete healing in my marriage. My husband and I are both disillusioned from financial and relational stress, that we both have turned to third parties, which in effect, has put a wedge between. We are both believers but currently not attending church for mainly the same reasons as Sherrie.

I am currently with child and feel awful sick daily from stress and the pregnancy. Thanks so much.
